Directions
Situated only eight miles from the city, Edinburgh Airport is served by a convenient road network which makes for easy access. The main A8 road runs directly past the airport, while the M8 and M9 motorways also run within close proximity of the facility.
From the north: take the A90 until it joins the M9, then follow the M9 south to the Newbridge exit. From the Newbridge exit, take the A8 before heading north on Eastfield road for the airport.
From the south: take the M74 on a heading for Glasgow until you meet the M8. Follow the M8 east until the Newbridge exit. From the Newbridge exit, take the A8 before heading north on Eastfield road for the airport.
From the east: take the A720 past Edinburgh until it connects with the A8. Follow the A8 west towards the M9 before heading north along Eastfield road to the airport.
From the west: take the M9 motorway east, exiting onto the A8 at the Newbridge exit. Follow the A8 to Eastfield road, which leads directly to the airport.
