Transportation
Edinburgh Airport benefits from excellent ground transfer connections to both the city centre and national rail links. Shuttles, public buses and taxis are all on offer from the airport, while trains are available from the city.
Rail and metro: the airport has no dedicated train station of its own; however, both Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverly stations in the city can be easily accessed via bus or taxi and provide onward connections to regional and national destinations.
Shuttles and buses: shuttle buses serving a number of hotels such as the Marriot Dalmahoy Hotel and The Quality Hotel operate from Bay 3 and Bay 6, outside of the terminal building. Meanwhile, public buses connect the airport with the central Edinburgh bus terminus and Haymarket Station. Services operate at 15-minute intervals at busy periods and every 30 to 60 minutes at all other times.
Taxi and limo: a taxi rank can be found outside the UK Arrivals Hall, adjacent to the coach park. Journeys to the centre of Edinburgh take approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
