Restaurants and bars: Departures and the second floor have the bulk of the airport’s cafés, restaurants and bars, where popular fast-food outlets and food halls can be found. Places to eat on the second floor include the aptly named Aintree Food Village, Burger King and Caffé Ritazza, while Starbucks offers quality coffee and Wetherspoon's Argosy Bar has a range of alcoholic beverages at attractive prices. Within the Departures lounge on the first floor, you will find the excellent Food Fare Restaurant and the popular Daytripper Bar.

Convenience items: there are plenty of shopping opportunities at Liverpool John Lennon International Airport, with popular UK high street stores spread throughout the terminal building, particularly on the second floor and in Departures. Some of the excellent outlets before security include: WH Smith, The Soft Shoe Company, Sock Shop and Accessories, while Departures offers WH Smith, Boots, Sports Co. and Dabs.com.

Duty free shopping: the Alpha Airport Shopping duty-free store at Liverpool John Lennon International Airport is located in Departures and has a huge range of premium brand products at attractive tax-free prices for those who are travelling outside of the European Union. Some of the most popular items at the duty-free store include: alcohol and cigarettes, perfumes and cosmetics, sunglasses and fashion accessories, electronics and gadgets, and a host of other interesting items such as travel-related goods.
