Transport options for getting to Aberdeen and Inverness from Aberdeen Airport are very good, with both trains and buses readily available and the main Aberdeen to Inverness A96 road running right past the airport. A fleet of taxis are always available for fast transfers to Aberdeen and hotels.
Rail & metro: the nearest rail station to Aberdeen Airport is in Dyce; a small village situated behind the airport. Trains run south from Dyce Station to Aberdeen and then on to Edinburgh, while services north to Inverness are also available at regular intervals throughout the day. You can reach all parts of the Scottish rail network from Aberdeen Railway Station as well as many other UK destinations.
Shuttles & buses: a number of different bus services run to Aberdeen city centre throughout the week and on weekends, although services on Saturdays and Sundays are less frequent. First Bus number 27 is a weekday service to Aberdeen from the airport; Stagecoach bus numbers 10, 307 and 737 also run on weekends, with the 307 running on Sundays only.
