Directions
Birmingham International Airport (BHX) is located southeast of Birmingham city, besides the A45 Coventry road. It is also conveniently situated near the newly opened M6 toll road, making for fast airport access.
From the north: exit the M42 onto Coventry road at Junction 6 then head west along Coventry road and onto Bickenhill lane for the airport.
From the south: heading north along the M5 or M40, you will merge onto the M42. Exit at Junction 6 for Coventry road and follow the signs for Birmingham International Airport.
From the east: exit the M6 onto the M42 south at Junction 4, and then head south along the M42 south before exiting onto Coventry road at Junction 6, following the signs the airport.
From the west: approaching on the M6, exit at Junction 4 onto the M42 and head south, exiting onto Coventry road at Junction 6, from where there are signs to the airport.
