Transportation
Birmingham Airport benefits from excellent transport links to the city centre as well as national rail links without the need to go into the city. A rail link, shuttles, regional buses and taxis are all options from the two terminals.
Rail and metro: The free Air-Rail Link runs every two minutes between the terminals and Birmingham International Rail station, which is on the West Coast Mainline. There are direct connections from here to many UK cities provided by Virgin and Central trains. Regular trains also run from here to Birmingham New Street Station in central Birmingham.
Shuttles and buses: there is a terminus located outside Terminal 2, from where different operators serve a number of routes. Routes 900 and 966 are the main services running from morning to night to Birmingham Central and Wolverhampton, as well as Sutton Coldfield, Atherstone, and even Nuneaton, Coventry and Warwick. National Express provides some coach services from the airport to regional destinations or a scheduled route from Birmingham city
Taxi and limo: the taxi rank is located outside Terminal 2 (Eurohub), with a 24-hour service to the city centre and other nearby destinations. These cabs are midifed for easy wheel chair use and can carry up to six passengers, including luggage.
