Directions
Bristol International Airport (BIA) is 7.5 miles southwest of Bristol on the main A38 Bridgwater Road, while the M4, M5 and M32 motorways converge on Bristol and allow for efficient access to other parts of the country.
From the north: heading southwest along the M5 motorway, exit southeast onto the A4 at Junction 18. Head towards Bristol and then take the A38 southwest via the A3029 and Brunel way. Continue along the A38 and turn right for the airport.
From the south: the M5 motorway approaches from the south and the southwest. Exit the M5 at Junction 22 onto the A38 northeast. The airport is about 15 miles from the M5 along the A38.
From the east: take the M4 west and the M5 south as far as Junction 18. Exit onto the A4 Bristol road and turn right onto Brunel way and the A3029 before reaching Bristol. The A3029 joins with the A38 southwest, which runs to the airport.
From the west: from South Wales (westerly/northwesterly direction), cross the Severn Bridge via the M4 motorway and then fork onto the M49 motorway (southeast); this will lead you to the M5 south. Exit the M5 at Junction 18 and then follow the A4, A3029 and the A38 to Bristol International Airport.
