Bristol Airport Information (BIA)

Bristol International Airport (BIA) is the largest airport in the southwest of England and is a substantial single-terminal facility, handling in excess of three million passengers a year. Both schedule and charter airlines operate out of Bristol International, travelling to major cities and holiday destinations throughout Europe and the Canary Islands.

Business services and facilities at Bristol International Airport can be found at the well-equipped Media Centre, with its conference room, and the airport’s two executive lounges. The British Airways and Servisair executive lounges have telephone, fax and internet access as well as complimentary refreshments. Cash machines are located throughout the airport and there is also a bureau de change service. In addition, a postal service and baby-changing rooms are available, together with a games zone. Cafés and restaurants provide sustenance, while several duty-free shops and other shopping options are also on-site.

Transport options for getting to Bristol from Bristol International Airport (BIA) include three bus and coach services including efficient public buses to the city centre and National Express coaches to destinations farther afield. There is no rail service from the airport, but the Bristol International Flyer (shuttle bus) runs to Bristol’s Temple Meads Station every 20 minutes. Taxis are also readily available.
