Facilities
Although Cardiff International Airport is a small airport, it nonetheless has commendable facilities for its 1.5 million yearly passengers. Money changing, banking, duty-free, dining and business facilities as well as fax and photocopying services provide passengers with all they could want.
Money: there are cash machines located near the main entrance, while Travelex currency exchange booths are situated in the Baggage Reclaim Hall on the ground floor, in the pre-departures area on the first floor and in the Departure Lounge.
Services: there is no left luggage service at Cardiff International Airport for security reasons. A post office is located outside the main entrance of the terminal, while a quiet room and a chapel are located in the pre-departures area.
Smoking: owing to recently introduced UK smoking laws, it is now an offence to smoke in enclosed public areas. As a result of these laws, there is a no smoking policy at Cardiff International Airport; however, there is a designated smoking area in the Scrum Half bar, situated on the first floor.
