Transportation
There is a choice of public and private bus and coach services that run to all areas of Cardiff and farther afield from the airport, while a new rail line connects Cardiff International Airport (CWL) with the city centre in just minutes. Taxis are also readily available.
Rail & metro: trains run to the city centre from Cardiff International Airport every hour and they also run to Bridgend from the airport in a westerly direction, linking the airport and Cardiff with southwest Wales. From Cardiff Central Station, services run to destinations throughout the UK.
Shuttles & buses: buses run to Cardiff from the airport seven days a week, with the main X91 bus service running to the city centre every 30 minutes and Cardiff Bus X51 operating between the airport and Cardiff Central Bus Station and Railway Station every hour. Services B9, X5, X45, 345 and V3 run on Sundays only, while National Express coaches run daily to destinations nationwide.
Taxi & limo: many taxi firms operate between Cardiff International Airport (CWL) and Cardiff, with the journey taking about 30 minutes.
