Children
Babies: passengers with babies will find baby-changing rooms in the International Arrivals area and close to the UK and Ireland Arrivals area. Beyond security, a babycare centre can be found next to the World Duty Free shop, just off the main Departures Lounge. All of the above facilities are open 24 hours.
Children: parents with small children will find unisex toilets located in the main concourse area and the Departures Lounge. A soft play area for children can be found in the Departures Lounge, close to Hamleys toy store. The area is unsupervised and suitable for children between two and six years of age. For similarly aged children, the BAA Information Desk offers free children’s packs containing crayons and colouring books. For older children, there is an arcade with a wide selection of modern video games.
Mothers: Boots the chemist is on hand for the purchase of essential baby items such as nappies, formula, baby wipes and so on. Parents will find that the majority of the airport’s eateries have high chairs for babies and toddlers, while children's menus are also available. Hamleys toy store will keep kids occupied for some time while they are perusing the many fun products on sale and purchases can alleviate boredom during long waiting periods.
