London Stansted Airport offers its 14 million annual passengers a good selection of facilities and services that cover all the prerequisites that would be expected of a modern international airport. Essentials such as financial amenities and information services are on hand, plus extensive shopping and dining facilities. Disabled passengers are also well catered for.
Money: passengers with financial needs will find both ATMs and bureau de change counters in the following areas: the International Baggage Reclaim Hall, the International Arrivals area, the main concourse and the Departures Lounge.
Services: postal facilities are available in the terminal, while parents with small children will find baby-changing facilities and children's play areas. Internet access is available before security in Check-in Zone A and after security in a variety of locations.
Smoking: the airport has several smoking areas; before security a single public smoking room is available near Check-in Zone K, while Pontis café and O’Neills pub also permits smoking in certain areas. Beyond security, there is a total of five public smoking areas, plus other areas within selected catering establishments.
