Special needs
London City Airport is certified as complying with EU regulations regarding facilities for passengers with special needs. There are no public areas that cannot be accessed by wheelchair users and assistance is available for passengers who require help in boarding the aircraft. Those passengers with special needs should call their airline ahead of arrival at the airport. Specially designed toilets are on hand in various parts of the airport, while parking spaces dedicated to disabled drivers are also available in all of the airport's car parks.
For those with hearing impairments, the airport is fitted with induction couplers for the purpose of amplifying airport announcements.
Extra assistance is available for visually challenged passengers. They should contact the airport and/or their specific airline prior to their arrival.
