Children at Gatwick Airport
Babies: Baby care rooms featuring facilities for changing and feeding babies can be found in both terminals and can be recognised by either a bottle or a baby care symbol. Some of the regular ladies and gents toilets offer wall mounted pull-down baby-changing areas. Baby essentials such as nappies and formula can be purchased from Boots.
Children and mothers: Mums can help alleviate their children's boredom by taking them to the play areas located in both terminals. These areas are kitted out with interactive games and they are furnished with soft padding to make them extra safe for very young children. The areas are intended for use by children between the ages of two and six. Meanwhile, the Games Grid arcade is on hand for older children and offers arcade games. WH Smith sells a variety of publications aimed at children such as comics and reading and colouring books. The airport's eateries are well equipped to receive young visitors and most establishments offer high chairs for babies and toddlers as well as special children's menus.
