Facilities at Gatwick Airport
London Gatwick's facilities are in keeping with its status as one of the world's busiest international airports. With over 30 million passengers passing through the airport each year, the airport more than meets its responsibility for providing essential services such as financial facilities and others services aimed at comfort and relaxation, such as dining and shopping outlets.
Money: there are three ATMs in the Departures area of the North Terminal and another four in the Departures area of the South Terminal as well as another in Arrivals and one more on the airside of the South Terminal. Bureaux de change can be found in all major areas of both terminals.
Services: left luggage counters and post offices can be found in both terminals, while mixed faith prayer rooms are also on hand for those with religious requirements. Other facilities include showers, a children’s play area and a medical centre.
Smoking: the greater part of the airport is designated as non-smoking, with smoking only permitted in specially designated areas. The Departures lounges of both terminals include sections where you can smoke.
