Children at Heathrow Airport
Mothers and babies: baby-changing facilities can be found in all Arrivals and Departures areas of every terminal, where specially equipped rooms have fold-down tables for changing and feeding. However, baby-changing facilities are not available in every toilet, but just those marked with a baby care symbol or a 'bottle' sign. There are also a number of unsupervised play areas at London Heathrow Airport, where mothers can leave their babies with dad while they enjoy the extensive shopping opportunities on offer.
Children: there are many facilities available for children at Heathrow Airport including several play areas, video arcade rooms and the Heathrow Visitor Centre. The Visitor Centre retells the history of Heathrow Airport through interesting interactive exhibitions and it also comes with a flight simulator game. Soft play areas are also located throughout the airport for children aged between two and six years old, while interactive toys and games can be found on the Main Deck and in the KLM Holideck lounge in Terminal 4, which is a purpose-built lounge with views of the runway.
