London Heathrow Airport is the world’s busiest airport in terms of international passenger throughput, with around 68 million people passing through the facility every year. This mammoth airport has four busy terminals, with a fifth terminal due to be complete in 2008, and it serves 90 world airlines and almost 200 destinations throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. Passenger facilities and services are extensive.

Heathrow Airport comes with excellent business and conferencing facilities, with a dedicated business centre that houses 20 meeting rooms and a full range of office equipment. In addition, there are credit card operated fax machines throughout the airport as well as wireless internet, internet terminals and internet cafés. Banks, bureaux de change, cash machines (ATMs), left luggage services and postal facilities can be found in every terminal, while the shopping and eating options are on a par with that of a medium-sized city. The duty-free shopping options are some of the best in the world for size and range.

You can get to central London from London Heathrow Airport by train, the London Underground, bus and taxi, with the Heathrow Express service to Paddington Station offering the fastest option. The London Underground Piccadilly line has stations at terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4, but services to London are much slower, albeit cheaper, than the Heathrow Express, while Airbus provides bus transport to central London throughout the day. In addition, the Hotel Hoppa runs to hotels in the area and London black cabs and limousines serve all four terminals.
