Children

Babies: baby-changing rooms are available in all three terminals, in a variety of locations, but they can generally be found next to the regular ladies and gents toilet facilities. The airport is in the process of upgrading all baby rooms, so as to include a high chair, bottle warmer, changing matt and nursing chair in all facilities. Boots is on hand in all terminals for essential baby items such as nappies, powder and formula.

Children: a play area for children is located in the Departures area of Terminal 1 and is open 24 hours. The facility is unsupervised; hence parents are required to remain with their children at all times. The play area is open to all children below 132cms in height. Outlets of WH Smith can be found in all terminals and sell a variety of media for children such as books, comics and colouring books. For older children, there are video games on hand in the Terminal 1 Departure lounge and in Terminal 2, before security. A spectators terrace is available at Terminal 1 on Level 13 of the multi-storey car park, offering children and their parents the chance to see take offs and landings from an excellent vantage point. For dining, many of the airport's eating establishments offer high chairs and children's menus.
