Directions

From the north: follow the M56 motorway south, exiting at Junction 5, which is the airport junction. From here, the route is signposted all the way to the airport grounds.

From the south: the M56 serves the south side of the city and leads to the airport. You can reach the airport by following the M56 north and exiting at the clearly marked airport junction. The route is well signposted and simple to follow.

From the east: the M60 motorway serves the east side of the city, leading onto the M56. Follow the M56 to the airport exit before following the signs for the airport.

From the west: the M56 comes into Manchester from the west. Follow it to Junction 6 and then exit, taking the third exit off the roundabout onto the A538. From here, the airport route is well signposted.
