Shopping and eating
Restaurants and bars: a wide selection of eateries is on hand in all of the terminals at Manchester Airport, with the greatest concentration in Terminal 1. Takeaway outlets such as Burger King and Millies Cookies sit alongside reputable cafés and restaurants such as Café Ritazza and Harry Ramsdens. A food court is also on hand in terminals 1 and 2, while bars serving soft and alcoholic beverages are available in all three terminals.
Convenience items: last minute purchases for holidays and items to make travelling more pleasant and comfortable can be purchased at shops such as Boots, WH Smith and Alpha Airport Shopping. Forgotten your tie for the business conference? Then Tie Rack is on hand, while Sunglass Hut is available for those who forgot to pack their holiday sunnies.
Duty free shopping: a variety of shops offering tax-free goods are available beyond security in each of the terminals. Specific duty-free outlets are operated by Alpha Airport Shopping and provide the usual selection of tobacco, alcohol, perfumes, gifts and confectionery.
