Shopping and eating
Restaurants and bars: Newcastle International Airport offers a good selection of outlets serving food and beverages, with a varied choice of fare available. Besides the Food Court, there are popular names such as Costa Coffee and Burger King as well as the regional favourite, Greggs bakery. Several bars are on hand as well as a Café Ritazza and a Café Pronto.
Convenience items: Boots and WH Smith are the best places to head for general convenience or last minute purchases, while shops such as Tie Rack and Traveller carry more specific travel goods, which passengers may find themselves with a need for.
Duty free shopping: the Alpha Department Store and the Tax and Duty Free Shop in the Departure Lounge both offer duty-free goods. An extensive selection of products is available between the two shops and includes perfume, designer clothing and accessories, gifts and electrical good and tobacco and alcohol.
